Supercol Food & Liquid Thickener was established in 1992 and is 100% Australian owned and operated.

Since 1992, our thickener has been supplied to over 400 Aged and Residential Care Facilities, 100 Hospitals, Private and Public Health Clinics, Pharmacies, Restaurants and Kitchens across Australia.

We aim to service a growing need for thickener in Australia, providing an NDIS approved thickening agent, catering to thousands of infants struggling with reflux, and helping those suffering with dysphagia.

Our mission is to assist Australians with living a happier and healthier existence, without the daily battle of dysphagia and reflux. Our products offer value and quality, that comes with 30 years of development.

Supercol products are meticulously tested, and quality assured. Extracted from the guar bean, our guar gum (gel-forming fiber) derives from the highest quality grown Cyamopsis Tetragonoloba.

Product

Natural Guar Gum

Supercol is a high-quality food grade guar gum in powder form. 100% natural, the product is very high in dietary fibre and low in saturated fats, sugars, cholesterol and sodium. Supercol is dairy and gluten free and does not present any concerns for those who have allergens.

Quality Assurance

Supercol Australia works in partnership with ISO and Food Safety System Certification 22000 (FSSC 22000) accredited suppliers, to ensure that only the finest quality guar gum is used in our thickener.

Swallowing Difficulties (dysphagia)

Supercol is used widely as an all-natural product, to thicken the food and fluid for people experiencing swallowing difficulties (dysphagia). It is used in aged and residential care facilities, hospitals, private and public health clinics, stocked in Pharmacies and distributed to individuals for use at home.
